The house is located 5 kilometers away from the centre of Monsummano Terme, a "comune" (municipality) in the province of Pistoia with about 20,000 inhabitants and extending for an area of about 20 square kilometers. Monsummano Terme is a popular spa resort, just as its renowned neighbouring city Montecatini Terme.
Monsummano Terme is situated in the region of Val di Nievole, just west of Pistoia, offering the benefits of calm, nice tuscan countryside and a very convenient starting point for visiting Florence (50 km away) and other major cities in Tuscany. Pisa, Lucca, Montecatini Terme, Pistoia, Prato are all in a range of about 60 km of motorway or freeway.
